I love painting because with simple materials, you can create a space with its own soul, although this is not always easy.

In the Reflections series, I seek to capture fleeting moments through color: how it passes through a blind on a warm summer day, a reflection in water, a ray of light filtering through the leaves of a tree...

The tones of these works range from yellows to blues, evoking the contrast between the warmth of the sun and the freshness of the shadows.

In the series Synchronicities and Water and Tears, circles and ovals represent vital energy, hoping to convey on canvas the sensation of flow, of continuous movement, of encounters and losses, of dark moments and bright moments that make up a life.

Braids and Pollen are series that I painted aware that the theme I had chosen was difficult to transfer to the canvas: the communion of the human being and nature, of the earthly and the cosmic, of the visible and the invisible... of that intimate and necessary connection between all this that generates and feeds the creative and life itself and we tend to forget in the midst of our contemporary hustle and bustle.

In 2015, the EnMaLa Gallery in Lanzarote proposed me an individual exhibition and as I love that wonderful volcanic island, I painted Magma dedicated to it, where the sea, volcanoes and flowers are intermingled as a metaphor of creativity and Art.

Synchronies and Circles are two series that are again based on colour and simple forms. I am working on them in the hope of transferring to the canvas the sensation of flow, of continuous movement, of encounters and losses, of dark moments and bright moments that make up a life.

My work is not linear, I go and come back to these themes again and again through time, which makes them intermingled and thus complementary. That is why the presentation of the work on the web does not follow a chronological order nor is it grouped by series.

My work is not linear; I return to these themes over time, which causes them to intertwine and thus complement each other. Therefore, the presentation of the work on the website does not follow a chronological order, nor is it grouped by series.

My workshop is in Lanzarote, a volcanic island with a very special light.

My art studies at the Universities of Madrid and Cuenca, having lived in large cities like Madrid, Paris, and Tokyo, being a mother and raising my daughter in a small town in the heart of the Castilian countryside, living in a place surrounded by the sea, the practice of meditation, reading, and everyday life... all of this has influenced my work.

I have been dedicated to painting since I was very young and have held numerous exhibitions, both solo and group.

I use different techniques, mainly oil and encaustic, as they allow me to create textures with a special warmth.

Working with color is very important in my works.
